The Scattered Sites management team promptly handles emergencies, visits neighborhoods to resolve conflicts, and moves residents into homes that appropriately address the needs of the families.
The management team sees that seniors receive the attention and services they need to remain self-sufficient.
Ten community-based management offices have been established throughout Philadelphia to provide improved services and immediate hands-on response to the concerns of residents. (see listings below)
We use site-based management plans as our primary management tool to track management procedures and performances. These plans better inform our residents of what they should expect from the operating services from their management office.
The Scattered Site management staff has received training in professional property management, a key factor in the upgrade in management practices and services to the residents. We began this training to enhance our management staff’s ability to manage the growing needs of residents and to provide the expertise necessary to handle a portfolio in excess of 6,000 units.
The Scattered Site Managers have received their Accredited Real Estate Management certifications through the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM). The IREM program is the ultimate in professional training for property management. The Philadelphia Housing Authority is the only public housing authority that is an Accredited Management Organization.
