REASONABLE ACCOMMODATION
We can provide reasonable accommodations to people with disabilities in our policies and procedures in order to provide access to our programs, services and activities upon request. This includes making alterations to a unit or facility if needed to provide access. If you or a family member are disabled and would like an accommodation, please fill out the Accommodation Request Form so we may assist you. This form may be submitted to the Admissions Office, to any Asset Manager or directly to the Accessibility Coordinator (fax to 215-684-0726) click link to Accommodation Request Form.
ACCESSIBILITY COORDINATOR
PHA has a dedicated staff that assists the public and residents with disability related needs. The Accessibility Coordinator (AC) oversees compliance with section 504 of the National Rehabilitation Act and the Americans’ with Disabilities Act, especially as related to the construction of new accessible dwelling units. The AC helps the Admissions Department, Housing Asset Managers and other PHA divisions in reviewing Reasonable Accommodation requests and makes recommendations to resolve a variety of problems. All resident requests for alterations are reviewed and approved by the AC and implemented by the 504 Crew managed by the 504 Construction Manager.
