The Home Selection Program helps to reduce vacancy levels in PHA housing developments. PHA contacts families on its waiting list on a weekly basis. These families are brought in for a briefing to introduce them to the resident life at PHA and given tours of some of our properties to view the amenities offered. Additionally, they receive information on the resident’s responsibilities and the agency’s responsibilities as the landlord. The families are then brought back to select homes from the listing of available units.
