PHA Offers $10,000 Reward in Wake of Shooting

(Philadelphia, PA - April 4, 2017)-The Philadelphia Housing Authority (PHA) is offering a $10,000 reward for information that results in the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the shootings in North Philadelphia that left three people dead and one person seriously wounded.

"PHA's thoughts and prayers are with the families that were affected by this act of violence. We are firmly committed to the safety of our residents and the neighborhoods where our developments are located," said PHA President and CEO Kelvin Jeremiah. "Anything that threatens the safety of our residents or their neighbors cannot be tolerated.  PHA is calling on the community to help put these cowards behind bars."

The shooting occurred Monday afternoon in the 1100 block of Stiles Street near PHA owned apartments and St. Malachy School.
Philadelphia Police say that two gunmen fired at least 20 rounds around 3:30.  The assailants may have jumped into a gray SUV nearby after the shooting.

Authorities have identified the victims as:
•  Tyair Jabbar, 20, of Southwest Philadelphia
•  Ronald Fenwick, 32, who lived near the shooting site
•  Marcello Robertson, 27, of Hunting Park

The fourth victim was a 26-year-old man who was shot in his stomach and is hospitalized in stable condition.
