PHA closed its Public Housing Program wait lists on April 15, 2013. The wait list will reopen when PHA determines that the average wait time for housing has reached an acceptable level. The public will be notified through advertisement on this website.

Applying for Public Housing Online
Required Information:
1. Mailing address of head of household
2. Phone number of head of household
3. The following information is required for all household members:
Social Security Number
Date of Birth
Gender
Race
Ethnicity
Gross Monthly Income
4. Site Selection:
PHA-owned Public Housing – your choice of 5 sites where you would like to live or choose to move into the first unit available that meets your needs
PAPMC – your choice of sites that meet your income and household size

The Waitlist Process
When your name reaches the top of the waiting list, you will be screened for suitability and eligibility. Upon successful completion of the screening process, your application will be placed in a ready pool for housing. Based on unit availability in your bedroom size, you will be contacted for a unit that meets your need.
PHA does not provide applicants with their position or number on the waitlist for PHA housing programs. Position on the list is based on time and date of initial application, the type and size of the unit required based on occupancy guidelines and any applicable Special Programs and/or Allocations.
